Understanding What to Expect At wCAA
Appointment Overview
When you enter the office, you will remove your shoes, all jewelry, and electronic devices, including watches and phones, which will be set aside. The practitioner will then perform an intake, interviewing the patient about topics such as their medical history and treatment goals. The practitioner may examine the patient during this time as well.
The patient then lies face up on the treatment table and is given two 5 inch metal rods, each with a wire attached to one end. One of these is held in the patients hand, while the other rests on the patients neck/upper chest area. during this time, the practitioner is evaluating the electromagnetic field of the patient while the patient relaxes. This allows the practitioner to asses the patient and indicates what treatments should be applied.
The process is not painful or invasive and does not require the removal of any clothing.
During this evaluation, the patient is free to relax and rest comfortably. Following the evaluation, SAAT or ear acupuncture may be applied if appropriate, which is included in the cost of the session. Homeodynamic remedies and other Dietary supplements may also be recommended. The cost of these products will be charged at the end of the session (See: Fee Information). Instructions for how to use these products will be provided.
The practitioner will devise a treatment plan and discuss that with the patient. Auricular medicine requires multiple sessions to be effective and continuing treatment may be required in order to manage symptoms.

How Long Will it Take and What Will it Cost?
The length and cost is case and patient-specific. Factors including the nature of your condition, the severity of your condition, how long you have had symptoms, and your individual constitution will all impact the length and total cost of your protocol.
Because the changes seen in Auricular Medicine and with Sol Natural remedies can be gradual, we typically prepare patient to continue treatment regularly for 4-6 months before deciding if AM is right for them.
AM treatments and follow-ups initially take place every 4 or 8 weeks, making the cost of office visits significantly lower than traditional acupuncture where appointments are 1-2 times per week. Treating this way also saves time commuting frequently for visits, which can be essential for patients located further away.
While the cost of remedies are a significant, they provide 8-12+ weeks of treatment. Other traditional herbal protocols can cost up to $150 a week for high quality formulas. Most of our remedies are shelf stable, very mild in taste, require no mixing or brewing, and are fast and easy to use. Because of this, patients have an easier time following the protocol, and less is wasted.
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes we do!
Family practice is an important part of our philosophy and we want to make it easier for households to receive care.
Immediate family members (spouses, parents, children and siblings) who are undergoing the full Holistic Medical Protocol (Holistic Medical Evaluation and Follow-up appointments) can receive 10% discount on the cost of any remedies / supplements purchased through us for the first year of their treatment.
The heaviest cost is incurred during the first 6-12 months of the protocol. This is because treatments will need to be the most frequent, and remedy/supplement prescriptions the most robust. The discount is an attempt to reduce some of that burden where multiple family members need support.
This discount will be valid for both/all immediate family members. The start date will be applied based on the initial HME of each patient. This discount will not be applied retroactively or to past purchases. While we will do our best to remember, it is the patient’s responsibility to make sure this discount is applied before paying. If this discount was not applied at the time of purchase, the patient will have two weeks following the date of purchase to notify us, and the patient will receive credit towards future treatment or purchases.

About Griffin
Griffin Molly is a licensed acupuncturist living and practicing in Los Angeles, California.
Drawn to the healing arts from an early age, as a teenager Griffin volunteered under Neurologist Dr. Catherine Cho at Mt Sinai Medical Center in New York City, working in the hospital’s movement disorders clinic. It was through this experience that he became fascinated with studying the human body and mind.
Griffin received his bachelors degree in Neuroscience at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, intending to practice allopathic medicine.
During this time he began to feel dissatisfied with the extent to which allopathic medicine only addresses patients after they have become significantly sick.
He became inspired by East Asian medical systems that treat the patient before they fall ill. His interest shifted towards techniques that support the health of the body throughout daily life, and he refocused his path towards preventative medicine.
Griffin attended Emperors College in Santa Monica, Graduating Summa Cum Laude with a Masters in Traditional Oriental Medicine. During this time he encountered the field of auricular medicine and experienced profound personal health benefits from this system. Griffin was drawn to the combination of Western and Eastern wisdom that it employs.
Since graduation, he has studied the techniques of contemporary leaders in Auricular Medicine, including Terry Olsen and Nader Soliman. Griffin is certified in both the SAAT and Auricular Medicine techniques
